Automation: Alert You To Unsubscribes
When someone unsubscribes from your email list, they won’t receive any further emails from you, so they’re just taking up space in your contacts list at this point.
To keep your contact list “clean and lean”, you’ll want to know when someone unsubscribes so you can go in and remove them.
You can use a simple automation to send you a notification, which I’ve already created for you as a template.
To create your automation, click on the “Automations” link in the ActiveCampaign menu, and then click the green “New Automation” button at the top right.
In the next window (“Create A New Automation”), select the “Import Automation” button, and then enter this URL: http://tplshare.com/8oU69eH
Next, click the “Get Started” button in the automation setup wizard.
You should see a box like this one:

The automation setup wizard will ask you for the details for the notification step…
Your name and email will most likely be filled in already, but you also need to specify the email address you want the notification to be sent to, which can be the same as your from email.
Click “Done” to save your changes and display the automation details.
Before you finish, click the “Active” button at the top right to change your new automation from “Inactive” to “Active”.
