The Prime Focus Lab All-Access Pass: Light The Path To Your Future
I think you’ll agree that stumbling around in the dark is no fun.
For example, I remember one night during a trip to New Zealand. My camper van was parked at a campsite located on a hilltop overlooking the town of Akaroa (a beautiful place not far from Christchurch).
Not in the mood for camping food, I decided to venture into the town to find a friendly pub with good food and a warm fire to sit by (this was July, and it was cold down under).
I made the journey down the steep hill, found the perfect place, enjoyed a good meal, and then headed back up…
And immediately realized that I’d forgotten to bring a flashlight, and there wasn’t even any moonlight to guide the way.
The path up the hill was unlit and quite unfamiliar, darker than the inside of an elephant, with a lot more exposed tree roots and rocks than I remembered seeing on the way down.
Not only that, but this was the off-season and the campsite wasn’t exactly well lit, which made finding my camper van a little tricky.
After roaming around for a while, I eventually made it, but what I would have given for a good flashlight 🙂
What does this have to do with your photography marketing?
Quite a lot, actually…
Imagine it’s Monday morning, and you wake up to a fresh new week.
Your “unlit and unfamiliar path” (the one that’s bugged the hell out of you for months now) is poor cash-flow caused by a lack of bookings or sales and the mounting pressure of unpaid bills.
You could try “rambling around” to see if you can find a fix for the problem — a new blog post, maybe some mini-sessions, a Facebook post, a bit more effort with search engine optimization (SEO), or perhaps some networking.
But none of it works, and the bills keep piling up, all because of one huge problem:
Many of the marketing strategies you assume you have to do because everyone else does them are broken and don’t work…
You and thousands of other photographers all fighting to get their name out there with the same marketing tactics, but all failing at about the same rate.
Plus, you get hit with these energy-sucking problems:
- You’re overwhelmed and stressed, and don’t know what to work on first…
- There’s too much admin work, and no time to spend on actual photography…
- You’re chained to the computer, unable to balance business and personal life…
- You’ve tried everything you can think of, but it’s still not working…
It’s easy to blame the increasing number of photographers, the over-abundance of technology in the hands of consumers, or a lack of perceived value in photography.
But, despite those things, there are professional photographers who make a decent living because they do things differently.
They know what they need to do and, more importantly, what not to do.
But the biggest worry for you is how long can you carry on before being forced to quit?
There’s no 1-800-FIX-MY-MARKETING who can swoop in like Superman to stop the flood of cash leaking out of your business and prevent you from quitting.
But there is the Prime Focus Lab All-Access Pass…

What's Included With The All-Access Pass?
1: Complete Course: Essential Marketing & Sales Strategies For Photographic Storytellers
Your clients love to hear the words, “I capture the story of your wedding day, kids, or family”… because stories transform snapshots into emotionally-charged works of art.
Like most professional photographers, you’re a visual storyteller — every photograph you create is another detailed chapter in someone’s life.
In fact, without the stories behind the photographs, your work loses meaning, and is unsatisfying to create. This course shows you how to incorporate those stories into an effective marketing system that connects with people and generates leads.
2: Our Private Q&A And Discussion Group
Inside the Prime Focus Lab, we have our private discussion group. Topics can include marketing, branding, selling, social media tactics, SEO, email marketing, and success stories. Motivational discussions and ideas on the philosophy of the photography business are also encouraged.
3: Resource Library: Photography Business And Marketing Foundations
Being a professional photographer takes a lot more know-how than being technically great with a camera and Photoshop. Business knowledge and marketing skills are just as important, if not more so. Building your business on these critical skills will help to set you up for success in the future, and should not be ignored.
4: Complete Guide: How To Make Money With Photography
There are no secrets for how to make money with photography, and definitely no “easy” button. Making a good living from your camera and photographs requires smart marketing, and you must be willing to try things other photographers won’t do.
5: Resource Library: Help With Websites, Blogging And Story-Based Marketing
Every professional photographer needs a website, and a blog is also an essential piece of your marketing toolkit. However, most often overlooked is the area of story-based marketing where you tell the stories of your photography in words, rather than relying on the photographs to speak for themselves.
6: Complete Guide: SEO For Photographers
SEO for photographers can be a challenge, but there’s no need to get overwhelmed or confused by the technical details. Get found by more of the right clients with SEO made simple. It used to be easy to create a photography website, add the right keywords, and get Google to list your pages in the search results.
7: Interview Library: Insights And Advice From Photographers And Experts

What one of my members had to say…
“After joining the Prime Focus Lab I now have a sound plan to follow in growing my nature photography business. Before I became a member I was lost in what steps I needed to do, and how to do them. I was overwhelmed. Nigel laid out a clear plan that put order to chaos. Not only did this return some sanity to my business, but it actually worked! I am now selling more fine art nature photography online and have my work in two galleries. I think if I had not joined Prime Focus a year ago I would have thrown in the towel already. I’m glad I did not! Thank you, Nigel, for your effective guidance and clarity.”
