Selling Photography
Most professional photographers didn't get into the business because they have a passion for sales. They simply wanted to find a profitable outlet for their photographs.
For many, the goal is simply to move up a level from talented amateur to professional.
But, because they feel uncomfortable with the sales process in general, selling photography can present quite a challenge.
For example, do you avoid trying to be seen as a salesperson by your clients?
Do you feel like you're trying to push people into buying products or services they don't actually want?
If so, your business could be heading for trouble!
Why?
Because every business, no matter how large or small, needs to make sales in order to survive.
There's simply no way around it, but there's no need to treat the process of selling photography as if it's a bad thing you do to your clients, or something to be avoided.
Instead, look at sales as simply helping your customers to get what they want, which is great photography from you.
