Well, 2020 has been an interesting year hasn’t it?
This coronavirus is really something else, and for us Aussies, it comes right after some of the worst bushfires we’ve ever faced.
I really feel for the poor couples who have had to postpone or cancel their weddings due to the recent events, but all we can do at times like these is focus on the good things in life.
Like this.
Jarrad and Jess very luckily tied the knot just before the coronavirus really ramped up here on the NSW South Coast in Australia. I’d personally been waiting for this wedding for over 2.5 years (they had to postpone the original date), so the anticipation was very real.
And I have to say, this little Gerringong wedding over-delivered even with such high expectations! The emotions, the happiness, the pure joy that took control of the day was so beautiful — I’m still buzzing from it all!
I hope you can all think of some happy times to get through this crisis — we will come out the other side, look back and no doubt laugh a little at how crazy this has all been.
About The Photographer

I’m a wedding photographer based on the South Coast of NSW, Australia.
I love working with fab couples who are getting married their way, with only their nearest and dearest along for the ride.
These small, intimate weddings focus is on the experience — enjoying time with loved ones, celebrating with quality food and drink (local and sustainably sourced where possible) — all in a beautiful location.
The connection I forge with my couples makes their wedding photos the easiest and most enjoyable part of their day! We all relax and have a great time, which results in natural, genuine wedding photos.
