Lexie and Aden have the love story of my teenage dreams.
They met and fell in love at church camp. Church camp, y’all.
What church kid do you know who didn’t fall madly in love with someone from summer camp at some point in their youth and pledge to marry them someday?
Usually, the novelty wears off when you get back home, or the interest fades when someone new catches your eye at school, or the distance makes it impossible… but not for these two.
Despite being in different states, which to a teenager feels like different continents, their love endured. I can only imagine the longing they felt during those long spans of separation, but they made it work.
After graduation, Aden moved to Kansas City to be closer to Lexie, and not long after, he proposed. And soon, they will begin their lives together, and I absolutely cannot wait to bear witness to their covenant.
Since they are going to be wed in the summer, we really wanted to get some snowy engagement pictures. We had snow much fun (yes, I said it). Lexie and Aden were naturals in front of the camera and had such genuine love and adoration for one another. I hope they will always laugh together as much as we did that day.
My cup runneth over…
